Satya Nikaten is a hub of pocket friendly cafes for DU Students. One of the most popular gem of satya niketan is Chowringhee. Most popular for their kathi roll and tandoori momos. This place is filled with students all the time.
We called for the two most popular items on their manu Chicken Tandoori moms and Chicken Roll. Tandoori momos were big in size with ample amount of filling served with mint and spicy chutney topped with mayonnaise. The momos looked so tempting that we just hogged them as soon as they came. Perfect balance of flavours, generous filling and so filling. These tandoori momos is a must try.
Coming to kathi roll, chunks of spicy chicken with onion and chutneys rolled in a crisp paratha says it all. It was melting in the mouth and delicious. The place also has a restaurant in the side with same menu but proper dining. The ambience is very nice and prices are little more in seating than take away.
